In 2010, XPEX issued a second opinion on the concept for the AJAX Experience Center: a commercially viable user experience combined with the big new AJAX retail outlet. Preparations on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam are well underway. In 2011, XPEX’s current responsibilities are extended to include developing the organization as well as general management of the AJAX Experience in the first full year after the opening.

On March 18, famous Dutch footballer and Ajax-coach Frank de Boer starred at the kick-off of the AJAX Experience on the Rembrandtplein en on September 23 the Experience was officially opened by delivering the Worldcup, two Europe Cups and the National Championships Trophy by Ajax-icons Sjaak Swart, Frank de Boer, Dennis Bergkamp en Danny Blind.
