EXHIBITION - MUSEUM AND VISITOR CENTER - BRAND DEVELOPMENT

XPEX is working on the ‘preliminary design’ of the new Heritage Museum in Dordrecht. In collaboration with MECANOO ARCHITECTS, interior design and the renovation to the building will be synchronized and a presentation for Dordrecht City Council prepared.

In preparation, we have begun a number of projects that will highlight the square and draw attention to relevant events that took place in and around it. XPEX makes a short film on the important historical venue that took place in the Hall of States (Statenzaal): the first Meeting of Free States (Eerste Vrije Statenvergadering) in 1572. The film can be seen from 28 June 2011 onwards in the former Augustine monastery, ’t Hof in Dordrecht.

At the same time, XPEX is developing plans to liven up the historical square and convey the heritage of the building to city walkers and museum visitors alike. XPEX has sound knowledge and experience in brand marketing and the client has asked to come up with a strategy and a communication platform to position ’t Hof. The aim is to embed the museum firmly in the cultural landscape and maximize its positive influence in and on Dordrecht.
